The Heal Dena campaign specifically is working with families and individuals impacted by the Eaton Fire that ripped through the community of Altadena.

Our Approach & Next Steps
Phase 1 (January through February 2025) : We’ve distributed essential items and provided immediate relief to those immediately affected.

Phase 2 (Now) : We’re transitioning to temporary housing, FEMA application assistance, wellness checks, and mental health support. We have secured 43 units in South Los Angeles with 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms that are available for families in need of shelter, and we are now on a mission to raise $750,000 to keep people housed for three to six months while they determine their next steps. Airbnb provided a one week temporary solution for these families who were immediately affected. We now need a longer-term solution, as we all know that this crisis will not resolve itself in one week.

Phase 3 (Next) : We will create an endowment and begin planning for community rebuilding and future crisis prevention and preparation.
